PANDIARAJ MOTOR TRANSPORT SERVICES
Pandiaraj Motor Transport Services was started on 9th April 2001. Initially started of with 3 bus routes after the grant of permits by the Regional Transport Authority Of Nilgiris. The first bus was comissioned on the Kotagiri - Alakarai sector . All the three buses were of the TATA 1512 TC / 36 Cummins powered vehicles acquired from ABT Industries Limited, Ukkadam, Coimbatore. Kind financial support was extended to us by Centuion Bank Coimbatore. After operating successfully we took over Sri Muruga Bus Transport Service on 19th July 2001 which further added another three Buses there by increasing the passenger vehicle fleet strength from three existing buses to Six more buses. On 20th October, 2001 another permit was granted to the company increasing the fleet strength to Seven. The company under alliance is also into the Heavy Cargo division.

its buses in 2 major towns in the Nilgiris District. The prime area of
operation firstly is Kotagiri & secondly at Coonoor. PMTS is the
largest private operator for the Nilgiris District.

Division:
PMTS having a joint alliance with Sathya Roadways. Operates about Five 2515 Turbo Charged Cummins power vehicles between Chennai & Mumbai holding prestigious contracts with the top industries in India. The carrying capacity is about 20 Tonnes.Pandiaraj Motor Transport Serivces is also leasing out Volvo FL7 Intercooler Turbo Model vehicles for Container traffic movement. Apart from this the company operates Six vehicles comprising of the TATA 1210 & Eicher Mitsubishi 10.70 series vehicles. Pandiaraj Motor Transport Serivces is also leasing

Maintenance & Service Centres:
PMTS Group of Transports has a full fledged
workshop at the main office centre at Kotagiri. All routine checkups
and maintenance schedules are done by our service engineers Telco Trained
personnel. All major spares, tools and all consumables.
Comprehensive on site maintenance is extend to PMTS by ABT Industries Ltd..

Tyre Retreading Division :
PMTSRC is just being set up at Kotagiri with a capacity to retreading about 450 tyres initially to start with under technical collaboration with Janatha tyres ( Salem ) & Targett tools, Coimbatore.

PMTS Group of Transports totally employees about 70 people spread over different areas of operations.
